This Chinese contract Maxim M-1924 MG is fitted with a smooth steel Water Jacket, Fusee spring cover, and Top Cover bearing official Chinese model markings including the back-to-front Swas sign used as good luck in the East. This completely legal to own, inert Display Gun comes on its original Contract model tripod mount with steel legs and mostly brass elevation gear assemblies. It is missing one traversing stop and missing the connector block to the ranging radius; otherwise totally complete. Mount bears large impressive brass data plate showing ranging details, serial number and reverse swas symbol again. The mount additionally has its original Gunner's seat and fold-out carry handles to rear so four men can easily transport the weapon under battlefield conditions. This is a very rare display gun seldom found on today's collector's market.
