This genuine Georgian Sterling Silver ELLIPTICAL brooch is absolutely beautiful,
stylish and elegant as well as steeped in history.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance
of gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and
strong dispersion, The Romans in particular were very skilful in
the production of coloured - glass pastes.

three hundred years old. From 1714 until 1837 four King Georges and a short-lived
William gave rise to this extended period, spanning many fashions that are
reflected in these stunning pieces of Georgian jewellery.
Sits lovely on a jacket, with fabulous Georgian workmanship all round.
